Goal 1 of my digibooking adventure has already been set in motion. As you can see my header has indeed changed, but it’s not exactly what I had in mind. My husband decided that although it wasn’t what I wanted it does indeed look better than my last header. So please disregard the incompleteness of the new look. Hopefully a fully completed one will be replacing it soon!

Thankfully I’m on my way to being a MASTER digibook queen! (That’s a omplete exaggeration, but I can always dream.)

Until I have reached my ultimate digi stardome I would love some suggestions. What do you like and don’t like about my new header? What should I add or take away? You’re the one who is going to have to look at it every time you read my blog so give me some advice! I’d love to know what you think! Thanks a million and happy scrapping!

Hey Kat 🙂 I see that you’re slowly learning how to get into the digital world of scrabooking eh? Did u figure out the program?

Looks good so far but with time you’ll get the hang of it and get better. I think the best thing u can do is just google and search around other different digital scrabook blogs and websites and check out the layout and templates of their website to get ideas. And I know that there are tons of websites out there that actually have people make templates for blogs. you can always find one that you like so it gives your blog some color and an interesting feel to it. and once u get it up, u can edit each individual color in the HTML code and post your own pictures and headers.

There’s sites like http://www.eblogtemplates.com, http://www.blogskins.com, and so much more. just type in “free blog templates” in google. enjoy 🙂

Thanks so much Zury! I am slowly, but surely getting the hang of digibooking. I’m still not able to create things on my own (I still require Lenny’s assistance), but I think I’m really starting to understand how to do things. Gimp is a great program and it’s actually a lot easier to use than I thought. Hopefully once I begin to use the program more and more I’ll begin to get the hang of it and I’ll be able to create things on my own withouth any help. 🙂 Thanks for the idea about searching other blogs. All of your ideas have been really helpful so check in again soon to see if I’ve been able to conquer digibooking and create a new and improved header! 🙂
